If only my friend took less selfies and more me on the water action

 The beach isn't as amazing as Calaguas but it was beautiful nonetheless. I love how the water reflects the blue of the sky. It's like a whole sky interrupted by waves in the middle.

Well, actually no place is worth damaging your skin for but this place was unbelievably beautiful! I can't believe I've stumbled upon this magical island. Calaguas is the most beautiful beach I have come to so far.

The trip is an 8-9 hours bus drive from Pasay to Daet. From Daet to Calaguas, you ride a boat for 2-3 hours.

The water was crystal clear. The sand, very fine.

 Usually I'd wait for sun down before I swim. But the water was so inviting, I couldn't resist.

I love rolling on the sand.

 So yeah, my friend and I ended up with sunburns on our faces.

I regret not bringing a bottle of sunblock

I was grateful that most of our activities were shows. I was dead tired from Zoobic Safari. We were so exhausted we no longer took photos towards the end of the trip.

Lo and behold, the tigers of Zoobic!


My friends from the workplace and I decided to spend the day after our office team-building activity in Subic's famous attractions. One of those places is Zoobic Safari.


We availed the regular tour package. We bought our tickets online so we had a small discount.

The tour was exhausting but it was fun! It's not everyday that we get to meet tigers or ostriches or snakes or tigers.

Our next destination was Ocean Adventure

We had a Team building activity at Subic

The trip was almost 4 hours long from Carmona, Cavite! Good thing we hired a bus. Having to commute would be a hassle.



We started off with an activity that was difficult as hell. Two groups were provided with an orange tube that stood 5ft tall, I think. You can see it in the photo below. The goal is to get a pingpong ball out of the tube by filling it with water. That would've been easy if only the tubes weren't covered in holes! 50 holes to be exact. Both ends of the tubes were open too. So yes, none of the groups were able to do it.



The next activity was simple. Throwing and catching balls. I'm not gonna say more 'cause it isn't as interesting.


And after that, we had the beach all to ourselves. Yey!

Some of us decided to stay overnight. The older guys rented a room. The young ones, including myself, rented tents for the night.

Resti explained to me what setting he did with his camera to get those light effects. I didn't understand a thing

We spent the next day at Zoobic and Ocean Adventure.

The beach was fine but I don't think it's worth the trip time, money, and effort. There are other better beaches that are more accessible and have cheaper rates.

The friends and I decided to have a day hike at Makiling through the UPLB trail.

Not to mention, tons of mud. Mud, mud everywhere.

But I loved it. One of my favourites, I would say. Because of all the nature. Trees and birds and stuff.
